The brief

Radar is the tool Apple uses to track work across the entire company, from the CEO to its film studios to every employee. Apple needed senior engineers to keep building it on iOS and macOS.

We worked as consulting engineers inside Apple’s own product team.

What we built

  • Designed, planned and shipped core and advanced features for the Radar iOS and macOS clients
  • Built features on a composable architecture designed to scale functionality across the product
  • Worked with the team to find the right solution for complex technical and user experience problems
  • Improved product stability and the experience for the people who use Radar every day
  • Contributed to the product’s iOS and macOS frameworks and SDKs in Swift, SwiftUI and Objective-C
  • Defined, built and tested accessibility features
  • Led in-depth code reviews and signed off on code merged into the product
  • Onboarded new engineers to the team’s practices, style guides and workflows
